Clinical Supervision
We offer clinical supervision to professionals from all human services backgrounds, including counselling and social work, whether experienced or new to the field. We believe in tailoring supervision to each professional client in order to best meet their clinical needs, including case consultation, professional development and goal-setting, and increasing self-care and work/life balance.
Some of the best supervision we have accessed for ourselves has been that which focuses not simply on the here-and-now of our clinical practice, but on continuing to challenge and grow us as professionals, from enhancing and developing our overall clinical approach, to working towards longer term professional goals.
It is a holistic approach to supervision that we aim to bring to you as fellow professionals.

FAQ
Is your clinical supervision suitable for social workers or just counsellors?
Yes, we provide clinical supervision for both social workers and counsellors, as well as other human services professionals. Our approach is grounded in systemic and solution-focused frameworks, making it highly applicable for those working in private practice, NGOs, or government agencies. We focus on meeting the specific professional standards required by your relevant peak body (such as AASW, PACFA or ACA).
What is the difference between ``administrative`` and ``clinical`` supervision?
While administrative supervision focuses on agency tasks and caseload management, clinical supervision is a reflective space dedicated to your professional growth and the quality of your client work. We move beyond “what happened” in a session to explore “how you are working,” your clinical decision-making, and how your own history or biases might be influencing the therapeutic process.
Can you help me with the ``business side`` of private practice during supervision?
Yes. Yes, for practitioners in private practice, supervision often includes a “professional identity” component. This can involve navigating ethical dilemmas, setting healthy professional boundaries, managing your work-life balance, and developing the clinical confidence necessary to sustain a solo or group practice.
How do you approach burnout prevention in your supervision sessions?
We view burnout prevention as a core clinical skill, not an afterthought. Our supervision provides a safe environment to process the “secondary traumatic stress” often inherent in family and couple work. By building clinical robustness and a clear sense of your therapeutic framework, we help you maintain long-term sustainability in your career.
Do you offer individual or group supervision sessions?
We primarily offer individual supervision to allow for deep, personalized reflection on your specific caseload and career goals. However, we can also facilitate small group supervision for teams or peer networks looking to build collective clinical skills and a shared language of practice.
